Artist Statement and CV

artist statement
Using video, photography, and text, I create slightly subversive, decidedly feminine, multi-sensory excavations of domesticity and other gendered tales. I see the past, near and far, as malleable portals, pointing me toward unexpected concurrences and unlikely heroines. Elements of empowerment, ritual, and seduction make frequent appearances in my non-linear narratives. As a domestic bricoleur, I collect the unexpected.
